- Install, commission and troubleshoot marine automation hardware and software, Power Management Systems, serial interfaces and network systems on operational vessels.
- Find faults in software, hardware, industrial networks, control systems and electromechanical interfaces.
- Work with serial communications, controller I/O, networked field devices and vessel-wide automation networks.
- Use Profibus, Modbus, CAN bus and PLC-based control systems every day to maintain and improve ship automation.
- Do installation, maintenance and remote support of integrated ship automation, together with global teams.
- Coordinate with vessel crews, customers, our engineering teams and international stakeholders in the field.
- Write up service findings and pass what we learn in the field back to our engineering teams.
